Trustmark is the government backed initiative to help consumers find reliable and trustworthy tradesmen to carry out work on their home. Trustmark registered companies are subject to an independent site inspection to verify they are operating their business to acceptable standards of quality, safety, care and value.
Industry Standards
FENSA The Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme (FENSA) ensures installations comply with Building Regulations for England and Wales relating to improved thermal performance standards. When having windows and doors replaced homeowners must comply with current thermal performance standards and ensure they receive a Fensa certificate. This would be carried out by Osprey Windows when you have a window and door installation.
Installation Standards
NVQ
All our employees are encouraged to achieve an NVQ National Vocational Qualification for window and door installation. National vocational qualifications (NVQs) are work-related, competence-based qualifications. They reflect the skills and knowledge needed to do a job effectively and show that a candidate is competent in the area of work the NVQ framework represents.
